RETURN TO THE BENTEGODI

After two years, tomorrow afternoon at 15.00 Milan will visit Mimmo Di Carlo's Chievo at the Stadio Bentegodi of Verona in the match valid for the 31st matchday of Serie A.

MILAN - Tomorrow, Saturday 11 April at 15.00, Milan will visit Chievo at the Stadio Bentegodi of Verona on the 31st matchday of Serie A.
The last precedent between the team of current coach Domenico Di Carlo and the Rossoneri was on the eighth matchday of the 2006/2007 season and coincides with Milan's last victory at the Bentegodi. It was 25 October 2006 and the match played on Wednesday night during the first midweek round of the season, finished 1-0 for Milan thanks to the goal by Jankulovski in the 30th minute.
The preceding season, instead, corresponds with the Gialloblu's last victory. The match on 3 December 2005, in fact, which was valid for the 14th matchday of the 2005/2006 season, Chievo beat Carlo Ancelotti's boys 2-1. In the 22nd minute Kaladze opened the score for the Rossoneri, the home side found the equaliser just before the break (46') through Pellissier. In the second half Tiribocchi made it 2-1 in the 82nd minute.
In the 2004/2005 season Milan won 1-0 on the match of the 13th matchday. It was 28 November 2004 and the winning goal was scored by Crespo in the 49th minute.
Also the preceding season Milan returned from the Bentegodi with three points: it was the 10th matchday and the match was played on 23 November 2003. The Rossoneri's 2-0 victory bore the signature of Shevchenko, who scored a brace (45', 50').
The preceding season the match was won by the home side. On the 7th matchday of the 2002/2003, on 26 October 2002, the Gialloblu beat Milan 3-2. Chievo took the lead in the 22nd minute with Marazzina and they doubled their lead in the 49th with Bierhoff. The Rossoneri answered in the 59th minute with Shevchenko, but in the 83rd minute Cossato scored the third goal for Chievo. Tomasson's goal in the 94th minute proved useless.
In the 2001/2002 season coincides with the last draw between the two sides: it was 7 April 2002 and the match on the 30th matchday finished 1-1. Milan took the lead in the 13th minute through Inzaghi, but in the 22nd minute Chievo equalised with Moro.
