At San Siro against Lecce, Milan found it difficult and suffered, but had the great merit of believing until the end. In the final minutes of the clash, Ronaldinho and Inzaghi scored the winning goes.
MILANO – A suffered win, wanted until the end. Milan against Lecce did not play well as they were often slow and clumsy, but in the second half improved and fought hard. Once again they kept Genoa at bay, also thanks to its champions. The clash was decided by Ronaldinho, whose goal should be shared with Senderos, and Inzaghi who resumes the race behind Roberto Baggio.
Carlo Ancelotti does not change the setup with two attackers and confirmed that Pato, close to Inzaghi, whereas supported the two attackers. Seedorf often played close to the Brazilian, whereas Andrea Pirlo plays in the middle searching for spaces.
Already from the first few minutes, Ancelotti opts for the more solid 4-4-1-1. De Canio’s team take advantage of dictating lines of passes.
The matchis blocked and in the final minutes of the first half Carlo Ancelotti s forced to replace Paolo Maldini with Senderos. Lecce continues to administrate the game, risking very little in the defensive phase and trying to push the wingers to support in the best way Tiribocchi.
In the second half it’s different as in injury time a perfect ball by Pirlo from a free-kick on towards Senderos who heads but the ball's trajectory hits Ronaldinho.
The Rossoneri’s enthusiasm ends to show off the usual Inzaghi and pouching, as he scored the club’s on the second post thanks to an assist by Sevchenko.
