WE NEED CONSISTENCY

Gianluca Zambrotta commented on the Azzurri's draw at Bari to Milan Channel and fixed the objectives for himself and the team in the next two months with the Rossoneri.
MILANELLO - On his return from Bari, where Italy drew against Ireland last night, Gianluca Zambrotta (who played both in Podgorica and at the San Nicola stadium) commented on the situation to Milan Channel's microphones: "I think last night's draw should be considered a positive result. First of all because we played with ten men throughout the match against the second-placed team in our group, secondly because we remain on top of the group with two points of advantage, which we hope stays the same ahead of our qualifying matches in September. The tiredness after my return? I don't feel it, I only feel pleasure when I spend time with the national team and with the group that won the World Cup. Then you go back to your club, and if you're lucky enough, like at Milan, to have a splendid group also here the re-entry is pleasant. But now we have to think about the league again, on Sunday night we have an important match for the Champions League."
More from Zambrotta: "I am particularly happy to be always playing both for Italy and Milan. I consider it a sign of esteem from the managers. I have also been lucky in that I have not had many injuries. In any case I always think about improving, you can always do more and do things better, both individually and collectively. Now we have to think about giving the maximum in our next nine games, looking for the consistency which we have not always had in the last few months. We have to find an adequate rhythm for an important objective."
